Why were the 1920's nicknamed the Jazz age? Jazz was created and became popular in the 1920's.
Why were automobiles important in the 1920's? Automobiles allowed people to live outside of cities.
Who was Duke Ellington? A famous jazz musician.
What contributed to the rise of mass culture? Radio, movies and sports helped create mass culture.
What was the 19th amendment? Women had the right to vote.
What was the Red Scare? A period where nativism was widespread due to the rise of Communism.
What was a quota system? A system limiting the amount of immigrants that could move to America.
What is Communism? An economic system where all property is owned by the community as a whole.
What is disarmament? When a country agrees to lower the amount of weapons that country has.
