TEOTIHUACAN | Teotihuacan was one of the most remarkable cities of the ancient world. Today it's located 48km/30mi NE of Mexico City, and considered to be one of the world's great archaeological sites. |
TENOCHTITLAN | The ancient capital of the Aztec empire, founded circa 1320. In 1521 the Spanish conquistador Cortés destroyed it and established Mexico City on its site. |
HONDURAS | Honduras is a Central American country with Caribbean Sea coastlines to the north and the Pacific Ocean to the south (via the Gulf of Fonseca). |
