Battle of Sullivan's Island Fought at Sullivan's Island. William Jasper saved the flag. Colonists won the battle.
Blockade of Charleston British ship surrounded Charles Town.NO food and NO supplies. Sigh a oath. ENGLAND WON.
Battle of King's Mountain Fought in the backcountry. Patriots vs. Loyalist. Loyalist tried to surrender Patriots wouldn't let them. Patriots WON.
Battle of Cowpens Patriots WON. Andrew Pickens in charge of Patriots. Used partisan warfare "hit and run" or "run and hit".
Battle of Eutaw Springs Fought in the low country. Patriots WON. British gave up went to Virginia. Last major battle.
William Jasper Saved the flag at Sullivan's Island. Gave colonist courage to keep fighting and not give up.
