Neuropathic Pain

Neuropathic pain syndromes

neuropathic refers to some type of lesion within nervous system that causes pain and sensory deficits
thalamic pain that is often on the hemiplegic side post CVA
burning complex regional pain syndrome causes ------- pain and hypersensitivity.
nerveroot radiculalgia causes neuroalgia within the -----------(2words)
phantom pain where something use to be or after an amputation
referred type of pain that occurs in the remote site of injury (ex: L arm, jaw, and/or epigastric pain with a heartattack)
parasthesias nerve injury or transection
