A policy of dominating other countries for your countries gain. Imperialism
The belief that some nations and peoples were superior to others. Social Darwinism
A group of Protestants whose purpose was to improve the life of those less fortunate because it was the proper thing to do. Social Gospel Movement
This policy stated that European powers needed to not interfere in the affairs of North and South America. Monroe Doctrine
An addition to the Monroe Doctrine that states the US can intervene in any Latin American issues if a country is causing trouble. Roosevelt Corollary
