TermDefinition
Font Size adjusts the height and width of the fonts keyed
Bold makes lines of text thicker to make them stand out more
Italics makes text slant to the right
Underline places an underline below the text
Font Type a collection of letters, punctuation marks, numbers, and special characters
Font Color color of text
Fill Color/Shading color of background of cell
Horizontal Alignment alignment of information at the Left, Right or Center of the cell from left to right
Vertical Alignment alignment of information at the Top, Bottom, or Middle of the cell from top to bottom
Borders lines around a cell or range of cells at either the top, bottom, left, right or a combination (visible when printed).
Indent moves text slightly from the left towards the right side of cell (used to emphasize subcategories
Number Formats used to choose how the values(numbers) in a cell are displayed (with $ signs, with commas, with % sign, etc.)
Headers or Footers used to add identifying information at the top or bottom of a spreadsheet
