Frisbee Number of players needed. seven
Size of disc. 175 grams or 10.75 inches in diameter.
How long before player has to pass the disc? Ten seconds
Causes for a turnover. Thrower is intercepted, misses target, drops disc...
What is a follow through? Throwers arm extends to 180 degrees.
Ways to throw? pancake (clasps with two hands) and rim catch
Drop- receiver misses catch
Stall- when the player with the disc doesn't throw before 10 seconds
Block- defender deflects disc in mid air causing it to hit the ground
backhand- throw where arm is extended to 180 degrees (I think)
interception- player from one team catches a disc thrown by the other team
throw away- thrower misses target and disc falls to ground
foul- results where there is physical contact between players
violation- any defiance of rules that doesn't involve physical contact
swing- horizontal throw of Frisbee
layout- diving for the Frisbee
pull- don't know guessing a throw
dump- don't know guessing a drop
Football. Touchdown- player carries ball across goal line
line of scrimmage- imaginary line across the width of the football
offense- team with ball
defense- team without ball
backs- players on offence who carry the ball
deadball- dead behind goal line (idk if right)
illegal forward pass- pass thrown toward goal line after you pass the line of scrimmage
safety- scored by team who tackles opponent behind the goal line
offside- when the player is ahead of the ball when it is snapped
pass interference- player pushes blocks, removes flag, or holds opponent (idk if right)
center- offence player who snaps the ball
block- player uses body to ward off defense player
lateral pass- ball is thrown behind or along the line of scrimmage
