War Industries Board Set production quotas and allocated raw materials
Propaganda One sided information intended to persuade
War Bonds/Liberty Bonds Essentially, people loaned money to the government for the war effort by buying these
Committee on Public Information America's first propaganda agency; created to "sell" the war to the public
Espionage and Sedition Acts Said a person could be fined 10,000 dollars and sentenced to 20 years in prison for saying anything negative about the war
Great Migration Large Scale movement of African Americans from the South to North to find work and escape racial persecution
Self-Determination Choosing for yourself what government you want to be ruled under.
