What does "FERA" do? Federal Emergency Relief Administration: Provided money and food to the unemployed and homeless.
What did the "NRA" do? National Recovery Administration: Symbolized by the blue eagle, it encouraged industries to raise wages.
What did "CCC" do? Civilian Conservation Corp: Hired young men to work on environmental projects.
What did "AAA" do? Agricultural Adjustment Act: Regulated farm production and promoted soil conservation
What did the "PWA" do? Public Works Administration: Created jobs building things like roads, dams, bridges, libraries
Indian Reorganization Act Wanted to promote Native American culture and self-government
Political allegiances changed for most Blacks Loyalty and support changed from Republicans to Democrats
