Richard Nixon Congressman who got national attention as a prominent member of HUAC; lost against JFK in the 1960 Presidential election
Julius Rosenberg He was found guilty of spying for the Soviet Union and sent to the electric chair in 1953. His wife, Ethel was also found guilty and executed.
