the meaning of some words that you can use in this area

TermDefinition
Goalkeeper A player assigned to protect the goal in various sports.
crossbar A horizontal bar connecting the top of the two goalposts; it should be 8ft from the ground.
soccer player an athlete who plays soccer - a person trained to compete in sports
defender whose primary role is to prevent the opposing team from scoring goals.
striker an attacking player, esp one who generally positions himself near his opponent's goal in the hope of scoring
midfielder is an association football position.[1] Midfielders are generally positioned on the field between their team's defenders and forwards.
