What is red tide? When dinoflagellates multiply so quickly they discolor the water.
What is an example of a protoctist that resembles fungi? A slime mold
How do fungi reproduce?(3 ways) They use conjugation, spores and budding
What are spores? Small dots that fungi shoot out so they can reproduce
How are fungi different from plants? Fungi can't photosynthesize and fungi have no cell wall
What do diatoms form around them? A 2-part cillica shell
Why would wearing a gauze mask not eliminate your risk of getting influenza? influenza is an airborne disease
Where do protoctists live? In warm and moist places
What are hyphae? The root-like structures in mushrooms
