the Buddha the "Enlightened One," Siddhartha Gautama found enlightenment under a tree, and spent the rest of his life teaching people his ideas
nirvana a state of perfect peace in Buddhism
metallurgy the use of metal, or metal working
inoculation to inoculate; a shot or vaccination
missionaries a person who goes out to spread religion to others
