| Compartment Syndrome | Condition in which collection of fluid in a confined space prevents blood flow. |

| Reflux | Flow the blood from the collection tube back into the needle and then into the the patient's vein. |
| Syncope | Fainting. |
| Bilirubin | Substance produced by the normal breakdown of the red blood cells that may accumulate in the blood. |

| Hypothyroidism | Condition caused by too little sercretion of thyroid |

| Kernicterus | Neurological condition that occure in some new borne with severe jaundice. |

| Sickle Cell Anemia | Inherited disorder of the hemoglobin molecule. |
| Bili Light | Uv light treatment for elevated bilirubin. |
