| Parthenon | Greece's most famous temple built for Greek goddess Athena. |
| Myth | A traditional story that helps to explain a culture’s beliefs. |
| Architecture | The art of designing buildings. |
| Sculpture | The art of creating three dimensional figures from materials such as stone, wood, and clay. |
| Socrates | A man who encouraged people who question the things they thought they knew. |
| Plato | A man who took after Socrates after Socrates died. He mentored another great philosopher named Aristotle. |
| Panathenaic Games | A time where Greeks would compete in events. |
| Olympics | A time when the Greeks would have a truce to not fight on this event. |
