Name any two of the first cities in Mesopotamia. Sumer, Ur, Akkadia
What is a surplus? More than you need.
How did the Agricultural Revolution affect the population of man? They began to grow from villages to cities.
What were homes like in the Paleolithic era? Caves or temporary structures to stay warm for a short period of time.
What is the fertile crescent? Area between the Tigris & Euphrates rivers where first civilizations settled during Agricultural Revolution
The Agricultural Revolution would never have happened without these Irrigation systems
How did the Egyptians keep society peaceful? A strict social structure
What was the Pharaoh? The King of the Egyptians
What was the job of the Scribes in Egypt? To record the lives, laws, and words of the Pharaoh
What social group was the largest in Ancient Egypt? Peasants
What was an Artisan? A skilled worker. They would make statues, roads, buildings.
