Definitions of the map

TermDefinition
Equator An imaginary line that divides the world into the Nothern and Southern Hemisphere. Its location 0 degrees latitude.
Prime Meridian The imaginary line that divides the world into the Eastern and Western Hemisphere. Its location is 0 degrees longitude.
Compass Rose A circle showing the principal directions printed on the map or chart. N, S, E, W.
Continents Many of the world continuous expanses any of the worlds continuous expenses of land.
Oceans A very large expanse of sea, each of the main areas into which the sea is divided geographically.
Physical Of or relating to the body as opposed to the mind.
Label A small piece of paper, fabric, plastic, or similar material attached to an object, and given information about it.
