Social Studies

Definition of Social Studies

TermDefinition
Social Studies The study of the social science, like political science, history, sociology, and many other topics.
Anthropology The study of human kind and human societies
Economics The condition of a region relating to trade, industry, and the creation of wealth.
Philosophy The study of knowledge, reality, and existence, also has to do with thinking or reasoning
Psychology The scientific study of the human mind and it's functions, like behavior, or the thoughts of society
Religion Means the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods. In religion there's a particular system of faith and beliefs.
