cultural diffusion The spread of cultureal beliefs and social activity from one group to another
religion The belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods
government The governing body of a nation, state, or community
system of writing an organized, regular method of information storage and transfer for the communication of verbal message in a language by visuall encoding and decoding with a set of signs or symbols
Art and Architecture A general term to describe buildings and other physical structures. The art and science of designing buildings and (some) nonbuilding structures. The style of design and method of construction of buildings and other physical structures
social struture Social institutions, or, other patterned relations between large social groups. On the meso scale, it is the structure of social network ties between individuals or organizations
Technology The application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes, especially in industry
Prince Shotoku A semi-legendary regent and a politician of the Asuka period in Japan who served under Empress Suiko
music Vocal or instrumental sounds (or both) combined in such a way as to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion
city design The layout/graph of how a city is being built
sculpture The art of making two- or three-dimensional representative or abstract forms, especially by carving stone or wood or by casting metal or plaster
Literature Written works, especially those considered of superior or lasting artistic merit
