QuestionAnswer
Primary Source original records of specific historical periods.
Secondary Source secondhand (not original) records that come from using original sources.
Geography study of the earth, its physical features, and the people/creatures that live on it.
Relative Location using landmarks or street names to explain where you are located.
Absolute Location the exact location of a place on earth’s surface.
Place made up of the physical environment or the surroundings and conditions in which something exists.
Human-Environment Relationships how man has changed the environment to meet his needs and how man has adapted to the environment.
Region parts of an area based on what they have in common and how they are different – geographical, physical, political, cultural.
Latitude imaginary lines that run east and west across the earth. (equator at 0 degrees)
Longitude imaginary lines that run north and south across the earth. (prime meridian at 0 degrees)
