What is the Magna Carta? The Magna Carta was a document that made it clear that even the king was not above law of land.
Who led each side in the battle of Hastings? William the duke of Normandy and Kimg Harold.
What were two important limits on the king's power that came from the Magna Carta? The Magna Carta made it clear that not even the king was above law of land and that they had to recognize the rights of barons.
What were the languages of law, culture, and government under the Normans? French and Latin.
