Who were the Rough Riders? They were a group of volunteer soldiers organized by Theodore Roosevelt.
Who were the Buffalo Soldiers? They were African American soldiers who fought in the Spanish American War.
Why is the Panama Canal important? It is a human made waterway across the isthmus of Panama that connects the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. It was created in 1903.
