Great Wagon Road Immigrants and settlers followed this Native American trail west with there wagons
Tuscarora War Fighting 1711 between settlers in North Carolina and Tuscarora Native Americans
Plantations A large farm
Charter An official paper in which certain rights are given by a government to a person, group, or business
Proprietary Colony A colony owned and ruled by one person who was chosen by the King or Queen
Cash Crops A crop that people grow to sell
