What is the Bill of Rights? The first 10 amendments to the Constitution. They protect our INDIVIDUAL rights.
The first amendment is the most important and has 5 parts. What are they? Freedom of: religion petition speech assembly press
What is the 2nd amendment? The right to bear arms.
What is the 3rd amendment? The right to not quarter (house) soldiers.
What is the 4th amendment? Protection from unreasonable search and seizure
What is the 5th amendment? Due process of law. "I plead the 5th..." (right to not testify against self).
What is the 6th amendment? The right to a speedy trial
What is the 7th amendment? The right to a trial by jury
What is the 8th amendment? No cruel or unusual punishment
What is the 9th amendment? Constitutional rights do not deny other rights.
What is the 10 amendment? The states or the people have all powers not given to the federal government.
Which amendment gives us the freedom of petition? 1st Amendment
Which amendment gives us the right to a speedy trial? 6th Amendment
Which amendment gives us the right to bear arms? 2nd Amendment
Which amendment gives us the right to not quarter soldiers? 3rd Amendment
