| lymphatic system | the cells in the blood that fight diseases |
| antigens | substances released by disease |
| antibodies | substances that keep antigens from doing harm |
| hepatitis | a liver disease with symptoms like yellow skin and eyes |
| mononucleosis | a viral disease with symptoms like a tender neck. |
