About the Apartheid and racism of South Africa

Apartheid The Law that Black South Africans lived under that made them apart form the Whites
Steve Biko A Black man that helped stop Apartheid.
Nelson Mandela The man that was locked in prison for protesting against Apartheid. (He later became president)
Donald Woods The man that notified and showed the whites what was really happening in South Africa and he helped stop Apartheid
Segregation Discriminating against racism.
Racism Treating another race differently than yours. Often involves name calling and violence.
Ethnic groups Groups that are defined by their skin colors
Black Consiousness Knowing and fighting Apartheid
Apartness The English translation of Aparthied
Fake Deaths When the whites said excuses for killing the blacks.
