Legislative Branch branch of government that passes laws, Senate and the House of Representatives

Why do Representatives have such a short term? It encourages the representatives to keep the citizens happy by talking and communicating with them
How does a bill become a law? A idea for a law is sent to the House and Senate, it goes to small groups of the Senate and House and is then sent to the President to be signed.

2nd Amendment The right to bear arms (with a permit)
3rd Amendment You can't be forced to house soldiers during peace times
4th Amendment You can't search a persons property without permission or a warrent
