Why was Sundiata the national hero in Mali? He was the national hero because he conquered the gold producing regions.
What does the name of the prince Sundiata mean? It means "hungering lion".
Why did Mansa Musa make a pilgrimage to Mecca? He made a pilgrimage to Mecca because its a duty of a Muslim.
Where was the center established in? It was establish in Timbuktu.
What was Mali described as? It was described as a peaceful country.
How was the cruel ruler in Ghana? The cruel ruler was Sumanguru.
What covers most of northern Africa? The Sahara covers most of northern Africa.
What is the weather like in the tropical Savannah? The weather has wet and dry seasons.
What were the things that were not expected to happen to Mansa Munsa in Cairo? the things that were not expected to happen were he ran out of gold and his spending upset the economy of Egypt
