Aztec Quiz

QuestionAnswer
Where did the Aztecs live? The highlands of The Valley of Mexico.
What is a basin? A bowl shaped area, often with a lake at the bottom.
What was the climate like in The Valley Of Mexico? The climate was mild in The Valley of Mexico.
Why did the Aztecs decide to settle in Lake Texcoco? According to the legend, their chief god had told them to settle in such a place.
Who was Moctezuma? The emperor of the Aztec Empire who made it reach its height.
What are chinampas? Chinampas are floating gardens.
What's an agrarian? People whose lives were related to farming.
How many social classes were there? There were the two social classes
What was the lowest level of society? The slaves were in the lowest level of society.
Why did the Aztecs preform sacrifices? They preformed sacrifices to please there gods and help them remain stronger and to scare people.
