Where did the Aztecs lived? In the highlands of The Valley of Mexico.
What is a basin? A bowl shaped area, often with a lake at the bottom.
What was the climate like in The Valley of Mexico? The climate was mild.
Why did the Aztecs settled in Lake Texcoco? According to the legend their chief god had told them to settle in such a place.
Who's was Moctezuma? An Aztec emperor
What are chinampas? floating gardens
What is an agrarian? person who's life was mostly related to farming.
How many social classes were there? 2
What was the lowest level of society? Slaves
Why did the Aztecs perform sacrifices? To please their gods and help them remain stronger and to scare people
