In West Africa when was a persons caste fixed at? At birth.
How did West African emperors support trade? By saving a steady supply of food and finely crafted goods.
What does oral mean? It means spoken
What does justly mean? It means in justice.
What are 3 oral traditions? Music, Dance, and Art.
What was the gariots main job? Their job was to sing about kings.
How did West African traditions spread to the Americas? In the beginning of the 1500s when many West Africans were taken as slaves to the Americas, taking their traditions with them.
Who are monks? (in Christianity) A man who has withdrawn from the world for religious reasons.
What are nuns? a woman member of a religious order.
What are three vows Monks took? Poverty, chastity, and obedience.
What does chasiity mean? It means having no sex during marriage.
What are the nature of humans? Weak and sinful.
What was pictured as a place of beauty and a perfect place? It was Heaven.
What was hell pictured of? Presented as a fiery pit.
If you have faith in Christ and abandon sinful ways where does that get you to? It gets you to Heaven.
Name one activity that the Nuns performed. Beekeeping.
What does vows mean? It means promise to God.
