Why were terraces needed to farm in the Andes? To expand their farming on steep mountains.
What was the Inca Empire like at its height? The Inca Empire was prosperous,stable,and peaceful.
How did Inca build their empire? They build a great empire by being influenced by geography.
What were two farming innovations the Inca used? Two farming innovations were terraces and irrigation canals.
How was Inca society divided? Inca society was divided into three. One for the priest and the religion, one for the government, and one for the ayllu.
How long Pachacuti rule for? Around thirty years.
Who was the last Sapa Ina to rule? Huayna Capac.
Name two gods the Inca worshiped? Viracocha and Lnti.
When did the Incas settle in Cuzco Valley? They settled in Cuzco Valley in 1200.
What is a Noble by birth? Close relatives of a ruling family
What is a Curacas? A Curacas is a local non-Inca chiefs.
