5 year plan (industry) created by Joseph Stalin and used in 1928-1932. Thought expanding industry could help build the military.

Russian civil war Reds, communists, vs. Whites, supported the czar
New Economic Plan based on prodnalog (food tax). Farmers made more money and grew more crops
Czarina and Rasputin a monk who influenced Alexandra politcally
Bloody Sunday January 22, 1905 group of workers were shot who went to czar's palace and protested
Stalin's takeover millions of people were murdered, took over by using terror
The Duma a government created by Czar Nicholas II to help stop the revoltuion
Russo-Japanese War Russia underestimated Japan; Russia's military was nearly ruined because of this
November Revolution led by Lenin; he was trying to influence people to the communist government side
Treaty of Brest-Litovsk Russian leaders signed this to stop fighting because they were losing a lot on the eastern front

Totalitarians a person who wants a dictatorship, and has everything in total control
March Revolution 200,000 workers demonstrates in the streets of Petrograd. The workers were joined by soldiers. This protest forced the czar to abdicate.
Supply and Demand Theory states that when the price of a good rises, and everything else remains the same, the quantity of the good demanded will fall.
