The great depression

What is depression? Period when business activity slows, prices and wages fall, and unemployment rise.
What is recession? Economic slump that is milder than a depression.
When many people loss their jobs, that is? The unemployment rate.
What was the year of the crash? 1929.
Stock market was? When their markets stop with big products.
A tariff is to? Tax on foreign goods bought into a country.
How long was the great depression? 1930 to around the 1939.
What cause the great depression? The stock market crash of 1929 and stocks were priced way to high.
What was the Dust bowl? Region in the central great plains that was hit by a severe droughts during the 1930.
Who was the president when the great depression started? Herbert Hoover.
Who was the next president? Franklin Roosevelt.
What is WPA? Work Program Administration.
What is CCC? Civilian Conservation Corps.
What is AAA? Agricultural Adjustment Administration.
To import is to? Is to trade products bought into a country.
To export is to? Is to trade products sent to markets outside a country.
