| Why was this period called the Middle Ages? | Because it was between the Ancient and Modern Ages. |
| Why can we say that the Church's members had political, economic and social power? | Because almost everybody in Europe was Catholic, meaning that people obeyed to the Church, which also asked for money as a way to go to heaven. |
| What was the basis of the economy during that time? | It was based in two system: the Feudalism and Manor systems in agriculture. |
| Characteristics of the Gothic Style? | It is influenced by the Church. Their paintings and structures were mostly religious as in literature and music. It has high ceilings, towers and glass windows. |
| How were towns during the Middle Ages? | They were small, dirty and dark. The people in there were into trading. Ex: Paris and London. |
| How did towns and cities start to grow? | They grew when people began to trade. |
| What were the two systems that covered life in Europe during the Middle Ages? How they differ? | They had feudal and manor system. They had cultural divisions: nobles, knights, vassals and pleasants. |
| What changes occurred in Europe during the 1000s? | They created nation-states and their economy basis changes into manor and feudal system. The Black Death killed a third of the population and brought a labor sabotage. |
