The Mutapa Empire

Why did Mutota leave Great Zimbawe? Mutota left Great Zimbabwe because he wanted to find a new source for salt.
Where did Mutota stop and what did that place have? Mutota stopped at a plain with fertile soil, good rainfall, and ample wood.
What did mwene Mutapa mean? Mwene Mutapa meant conqueror or master pillager.
What happened to the empire after Mutota died? When Mutoata died the empire captured all what is known as Zimbabwe except for the eastern portion.
