Agriculture The practice of farming, including cultivation of the soil for the growing of crops
Culture A peoples whole way of life, with either a learned, and/or natural behaviors
Old Stone Age Paleolithic times 3 millenniums ago
Irrigation Man made canals and ditches that helped supply land with water
Bering Land Bridge A land bridge that was about 1,000 miles long, and joined present-day Alaska to Eastern Siberia at various times during the Pleistocene ice ages
Tradition Something that is carried on through generations, that is special to a family, group of people, or even one person
Nomad A person who never stays in one place and is constantly moving to stay with the herd, so it can eat. They are also Hunter-Gatherers.
Domesticate Taming an animal to keep it as a pet, to eat, to make clothes out of, use for transportation etc.
A.D. Means Anno Domini (is Latin) means in the year of our Lord
Archaeologist A scientist who examines bones, tools, and other artifacts to learn about our Ancient Ancestors and their cultures.
Ainu A group of people from Japan with distinct light skin and roundish eyes
Artisian Someone skilled in making objects such as pottery, spears, spear throwers, jewelry, clothes, tools etc.

Anthtropology The study of humans
Obsidian A black rock made from dried molten lava
Botanist A person who is skilled in identifying historic plants and plant fossils
Atlatl Spearthrower
Oral History/Oral Tradtion Traditions passed down through generations by mouth.
Caucasoid Relating to the Caucasian division of humankind.
