Why were the delegate meeting for the Constitutional Convention? They met to discuss the Articles of Confederation.
Where was the Constitutional Convention held? Philadelphia
When did the Constitutional Convention take place? May - September in 1787
What did the Constitutional Convention actually do? They threw out the Articles of Confederation and created the Constitution, giving more power the federal government.
What was the New Jersey plan? The New Jersey plan, or small state plan, wanted the number of representatives to be equal and didn't want them to be based off of population.
What is the Virginia plan? The Virginia Plan, or the large state plan, wanted the number of representatives to be bases off of population and not to be equal.
What is the nickname for the New Jersey Plan and the Virginia? The New Jersey Plan is the "Small State Plan", and the Virginia Plan is the "Large State Plan."
