Boll Weevil is a BUG that began to destroy cotton crop, forcing farmers to find other crops besides cotton to grow a profit ($$)
Agriculture in the Atlantic and Gulf Coastal Plains Atlantic and Gulf Coastal Plains grow fruits and vegetables
Agriculture in the Lowland along the Mississippi River inlcude rice, cotton and sugar
Agriculture in the valleys of the Appalachian Mountains include corn and apples
Additional agriculture in the southeast regions inlcude peaches, tobacco, dairy
Industries in the southeast regions include Steel, coal mining, furniture, textile and paper mills
