Aqueduct A water system that brings clean water into the city, and dirty water out of the city.
Philosophy What people believe. Thinking about thinking. (Why is the sky blue) (Why is water wet)
Renaissance Rebirth of Greek and Roman ideas.
Democracy Ruling of the people.
Autocracy The ruling of one person.
City- State A city that has enough power to be a country. (Athens) (Sparta)
Oligarchy Ruled by a few, often military.
Treason Going against the government.
Republic Don't vote on every single issue. They vote on someone who then makes decisions about things, such as streetlights so that we do not have to vote on it.
