supreme law any other laws that are inconsistent with the Constitution are unconstitutional, and "struck down" as such.
preamble the introductory part of a statute or deed, stating its purpose, aims, and justification.
constitutional law the body of law which defines the relationship of different entities within a state, namely, the executive, the legislature, and the judiciary.
autocracy a system of government by one person with absolute power
oligarchy a small group of people having control of a country, organization, or institution
democracy a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives.
