Who did Muslims believe should be in charge? How was he related to Muhammad? Ali his cousin in law
What was the beginning of the schism (split) in Islam? When Ali became the first imam (leader)
Who were sunnis? Supporters of Abu bakr (85%of Muslims)
Who were Shiites? Supporters of Ali (15% of Muslims)
What did both (Sunnis and shiiets) believe in ? Qur'an, Mecca, medina, and Jerusalem
What is qur'an? The word of Allah (God in aribic)
What do Sunnis only believe ? Muslim community can elect their leader
What do Shiites only believe? That only descendants of Ali can be leader
Who wrote the cannon of medicines? Avicenna
Who established mugal Indian? Babur, a decendent from genghis khan
Who was genghis khan? A leader of the mugal empire
Murals were Muslims, what language did they speak? Persian
What is a mihrab? An indentation in the wall to show where Mecca is located
