Stamp Act

Stamp Acts What? taxes on paper like newspaper, and legal documents.
They taxes it by a stamp or seal to recognize it as being taxes if the paper didn't have a stamp or seal you would be in trouble because it would technically be a smuggled good.
During this time the sons of liberty( who were a were a secret group who thought of ways to oppose British Laws and even used violence to intimidate tax collectors.)
The stamp act began in 1765
