Rome-D Rome was located in Italy, which includes islands and a peninsula in southern Europe. The Italian peninsula is shaped a lot like a boot. It reaches into the Mediterranean Sea - ready to kick the island of Sicily.

Rome-E :Rome is a city in Italy that we now call “The Ancient City of Rome.” It also goes out to the Mediterranean sea. Rome is a peninsula. a peninsula is a piece of land that is surrounded water on three sides.

Palatine-E The Latin tribe built their village that eventually became rome, on Palatine, a hill in central Italy.
Cuniculus-E it was a long underground trench. Romans used trenches to irrigate land.
Gladiator-E In Roman stadiums, thousands of slaves died fighting as gladiators. They fought against each other or wild animals.
