Government

QuestionAnswer
What is government? It is an organization with the authority to make, carry out, and enforce laws.
What happens in a democracy? The power comes from the people and is limited by the people. The U.S. government is a democracy; so is our state and local governments.
What is a democratic government? It protects the individual rights and promotes the common good.
When did Louisiana become a state? 1812
How many branches does the Louisiana government have and list them? 3; Legislative, Executive, Judicial
