decontamination spa

QuestionAnswer
Sanitation The lowest level of decontamination. Reduces the number of pathogenic bacteria on a surface. Should be carried out before disinfection and sterilization
Disinfection Is the second stage of decontamination. Greatly reduces pathogenic bacteria on a non-living surface. Is no used for skin, hair or nails.
Sterilization Is the total destruction of all living organisms on an object. The two methods are: Heat and Chemical.
