1.11 The Eastern Woodlands rain produced what? They produced endless forests, lakes, and streams.
1.11 When it came to agriculture who did what? The men first burned down lots of trees and the women did the rest such as planting and caring for the plants.
1.11 What was the biggest resource for the astern Woodlands people? The large and plentiful woods were the greatest resource for these people.
1.12 What was the main geographic feature of the Southeast? Swamps and fertile coasts.
1.12 What were the first earthen mounds created for? The first mounds created were burial sites.
1.12 Who worked on the fields the most? Men or Women? The women were always harvesting while the men were hunting.
