1.6 What kind of geographic features did the California region have? Ocean storms that brought winter storms, summers were hot and dry, diverse enviroment.
1.6 What were the main food sources for California? Salmon,shellfish, deer, roots, berries, pine nuts and acorns.
1.6 What type of homes did California have? Simple homes, antlers of deers, elk, and were cone shapes.
1.6 What tools did California use for hunting? Made baskets, sifters, and fish traps made out of wove plant materials.
1.7 What type of climate did the Great Basin have? They had freezing temperatures and was also dry.
1.7 What type of houses did the Great Basin have? They had temporary shelters of willow poles shaped into a cone and covered with brush or seeds.
1.8 Name some of the geographic features for the Plateau? North of the Great Basin , has dense forests,and is covered in grass.
1.8 What kind of tools did the Plateau use for hunting food? They used nets and spears to hunt fish or sea animals.
