1.10 How were the buffalo used in the great plains? Plains people used every part,shields, waterproof containers, warm robes, bedding, clothing , bags, bowstrings, and rope,and used for housing.
1.11 What did hunters and women do for food? Hunters ate deer, bear, beavers, birds and fish. And women collected fresh greens, nuts and berries.
1.11 How would farmers clear land for farming? Farmers cleared area by burning away fire and underbrush.
1.12 Why would it take so long to build mounds? People would move dirt one basketful at a time.
1.12 How did the men hunt and what did they hunt? Men hunted using blowguns for squirrels ,rabbits, and turkeys. Bow for large anima like dear, and even a alligator
