Government Types

Different types of government

TermDefinition
Absolute Monarchy The Monarch, King, Queen, Prince, Emir, Oman.
Representative Democracy Leaders elected by people.
Communism The Communist Party, and its leaders.
Oligarchy A small group of people.
Dictatorship One leader and one party.
Direct Democracy Each individual voting.
Theocracy A group of religious leaders or people who ask the advice of religious leaders.
Constitutional Monarchy Parliament-elected by people and the Monarch; King or Queen.
Tyranny The tyrant.
